It’s been several years of no price increases at Segway on Q. It was 2017 when we last raised our prices.
How’s this possible?
Simple! There hasn’t been any inflation anywhere in the world in the past several years. Right? No? Ok, so it’s actually the highest inflation seen in decades. That makes no price increases even more remarkable!
We were probably due an increase a few years back but then this little thing called Covid came along. It made raising prices in tourism rather challenging. Especially when you’re operating in a town reliant on international tourism.
But things have picked up since then, haven’t they?
The past year has been significantly better than the previous couple. Covid restructuring though, means Segway on Q can offer continued value for money. The business has returned to a home office eliminating the costs of having a base in town. Staff numbers were also reduced which is another cost saving that’s getting passed onto customers.
Affordable activities in Queenstown
All this is great news for the customer. You can enjoy an affordable activity in Queenstown. There are not many activities that run for an hour under $100. 2hrs of fun and sightseeing at just $139 is a great deal for customers. Segway on Q offers an affordable activity in Queeenstown that customers thoroughly enjoy.

Surely the prices will be going up soon?
Segway on Q will be putting a freeze on prices for another year yet. You’ve still got plenty of time to come out and enjoy a Segway experience in Queenstown at the current prices. These rates can’t last forever though so don’t leave it too long. From 1st October 2024 you can expect a modest price increase. That will be 7 years since the previous increase!
